“and the wanderers wandering at the wonders of themselves”
A new film by Alice Theobald produced for OPEN SOURCE, 2015.
This film unfolds as a circular stroll taken by two people (acquaintances, siblings perhaps lovers?) across Gillett Square, East London. The couple’s conduct remains ambiguous - both anticipated and followed by three cameras. Presented in form of three, slightly varied takes, in the square in which it was filmed, ‘And the wanderers…’ connects, in curious ways, life on and off screen.
