Conceived as part of 'OPEN SOURCE' arts festival, BEHIND GLASS is a group exhibition featuring two artists and one composer. Each has been asked to respond to the exhibition title through their respective mediums of performance, music, video, and print.

Used as an open ended, but reasonably defined point of departure the words 'behind glass' can signify a number of different things: museological objects kept behind glass; the workings of corporations whose employees reside behind large panes; or conditions online, where, under surveillance, our lives are as transparent as if we were living behind glass walls.

BEHIND GLASS will be installed onsite at Dalston Studios, within a self-contained area of three rehearsal rooms. The exhibition will include fixed installations and timed performances taking place over the two days of 'OPEN SOURCE'.
