David Raymond Conroy's Eating Too Fast, a tale about how one critic's satirical take on the patriarchal artworld of 1960s New York ended up giving birth to Richard Prince, or how sometimes we get the exact opposite of what we're aiming for.

David Raymond Conroy born 1978 in Reading, lives and works in Brussels. Recent projects include the group exhibition curate by the artist, Prosu(u)mer at EKKM, Tallinn, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, a stage play with Andy Holden, presented at Arnolfini, Bristol and the ICA, London; a solo exhibition L’homme qui voulait savoir at GP & N Vallois, Paris and a solo presentation at the SUNDAY fair in London. Group exhibitions include The Language of the Flowers and the Stars, curated by Andy Holden at Cubitt, London; Fig.2 at the David Robert’s Art Foundation, London; Version Control, Arnolfini, Bristol; While it Lasts, curated by Elinor Morgan at Milton Keynes Gallery; Soundworks, ICA, London; Waterfalls Pavilion curated by Charles Aubin at the Biennial de Belleville, Vivarium Studio, Paris.
